I’m writing this review 10 years after my service with Dr. Macer, because I am receiving a bill for $131 for services rendered. I wouldn’t have written about my experience here if it wasn’t for this bill coming to me… when I went to see Dr. Macer we discussed explicitly what services were covered by my insurance and what was not. We discussed my symptoms of a sore throat, she ran tests for influenza that she knew were not covered and then proceeded to bill me. When I called to dispute this, there was no resolution. If you are lucky enough to have a medical team half as good as Dr. Macer's, you would be fortunate. A whollistic, caring, personalized appraoch to your health.
Dr. Macer is the epitome of the caring, whole person centered Physician. She has been the go to Dr for my family for many years. I trust her with my health, rely on her expertise and would recommend her without hesitation.
A true nightmare. Dr. Macer provided recommendation surgery to remove a gall bladder, when all we needed was a change of diet and regular digestive cleanse. Her first and only idea was a strategy for drugs, medication and surgery for gall bladder removal with then a life long requirement for drugs. Removal of a gall bladder has permanent implications of diet and digestion which she was indifferent or clueless on...this was her 'go to' strategy.
