Terrible -- Run like Hell!!! Terrible dining experience. Took my family (including elderly relatives from out-of-town) to dinner last night, with reservations at 6:45 for 6 of us. Checked-in at 6:50 and was told our table had been given away, and all they had was a table for 4. Asked for one of the larger tables that clearly were empty, and was told they were not available. Good Mexican Food MacAyo's is a great Mexican restaurant. They have great enchiladas and the portions are very large. The atmosphere is very nice and my kids like eating there when we visit.
Southwest Food Has really good food, and good service. Sunday Brunch is one of their specialty days, with live entertainment. Very good quality food and drinks from their bar!
good food Macayos is family friendly & has good food. It can get busy on the weekends, so we get there early. We never wait long for our food to come. I've used them twice for catering, and have not been disappointed. They have gluten-free menu options. There's so much to look at - the kids are never bored.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area Hands down the best Mexican food in the area and the service is very friendly. The daily lunch specials at $5.99 are a great value and the margaritas are the best in town. I love to sit by the fireplace in the winter months or enjoy the patio in the warmer months. You can't go wrong here.
MacAyo's Mexican I always enjoy the food at MacAyo's in the Gateway mall, Prescott. The service is freindly and usually very fast to bring your order. More than just Mexican food, also has good seafoods with a Mexican flare.
MacAyo's Mexican Kitchen: Overpriced We ate here many times, but when we went at Easter, we found their prices had gone up so much that it was very overpriced. There were ten of us, and when my daughter asked for some extra red sauce, they charged a couple of dollars extra for it. This was on top of a bill that was already well over $100. The food may be good, but the prices aren't worth it. We no longer go there.
Can be hit or miss - but definitely worth a try I love their green corn tamales with baja sauce! This place is owned by the Johnson family and they have been part of Phoenix history for years. Support local business-owning families and check out their menu.
