My daughter had an internal ultrasound performed yesterday and was left deeply traumatized. Not only was she not informed that the procedure would be done by a male,which I would have thought they'd have a duty of care to inform her, the experience left her upset and feeling traumatized. An extremely disappointing and degrading experience for her. A warning to other patients so this does not continue to happen.
