I specifically went with Ramsay because they did Telehealth. My referral in May stated Telehealth. I rang and requested confirmation of Telehealth in September (6 weeks before the appointment). I rang again the day before in a last ditch effort to confirm I can do Telehealth so I didn’t have to travel interstate to make the appointment. They rang and confirmed the appointment could be Telehealth 20 minutes before the appointment. I had an appointment on the 27th of August in which we agreed on vyvanse and lexapro repeats, and starting me on Clonidine. I sent an email on the 4th of October and called on the 5th since I had not received any of the eScripts, and had 7 pills of vyvanse left. I was told that my email had been forwarded to my Dr and was marked as urgent. After nothing in my SMS or emails I called again on the 9th and was given the same answer that it has been sent but that my Dr might be busy. Only ever been an inpatient once. There is not a bad word I could say about Sharna & her team. The nurses were so attentive, caring & “on the ball”. If I forgot my nightly meds, they soon came & reminded me. We did regular progress checks & I could vent, discuss, ask anything I needed, whenever I needed. You didn’t have to attend any internal sessions you didn’t feel were appropropriate or suitable for your situation. But the ones I did attend were very helpful. Ramsay Clinic MacArthur doesn’t even deserve a 1 star review.. I have never experienced such blatant neglect and lack of care from both reception team and Dr Mazloumi. An appointment booked at least 6 months in advance was cancelled the day my client was meant to get an ADHD assessment and meds. Not only that, It was near impossible to reach out to reception to reschedule or to find out if any prior results from a GP had been received.
