The first Macado’s restaurant was opened in 1978 by Richard Macher in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. It soon became popular for its eclectic ambiance of cartoon, antique, and local nostalgic decor, as well as its wide array of hearty yet modestly-priced sandwiches, subs, and entrees. The food was amazing. Our server, Helena, was extremely professional, she knew the product on the menu, and made sure our needs were taken care of.
Helina was great to is. We were in 4 and everyone was happy with her. She was kind, professional and she knew the menu very well. The food was okay and the atmosphere was good. Would recommend it.
Excelent hamburgers. We had a big cinnamon roll as a desert which was enough for 4 after our sandwiches.
