I had a very frustrating experience with MAC Properties. Communication throughout the application process was extremely poor. I had to reach out multiple times just to get any kind of update, and even then, responses were slow and unhelpful. Instead of being transparent, I felt like I was being strung along with no clear answers about my application status. Parc Frotenac - Moving in and find a space here has been a breeze and at other places ive rented at, theres always been one or two people in the office I maybe dont vibe with at first, but so far EVERYONE has been awesome!! 😁 I very much so appreciate Haileys help at the front desk with getting me pointed in the right direction with getting my things moved in and where things are. (Side note, I was absolutely *stunned* by the city skyline view to the east during sunrise this morning from an upper floor unit)
My lease is 71 pages long and let me tell you absolutely NONE of it says anything good for you as a tenant. For that reason alone, you should never rent from them. Let me give you a perfect example, in a contract they state "HEREBY RELEASES [them, Mac Properties] FROM ANY AND ALL… CLAIMS (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY CLAIM OF NEGLIGENCE)… FOR ANY INJURY… OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY… CAUSED BY, GROWING OUT OF, OR HAPPENING IN CONNECTION WITH… USE AND/OR OCCUPANCY OF THE PREMISES…” Now what does all that mumbojumbo mean?
