Understanding making you feel comfortable and relaxed during examines. I have never liked the eye examines which means putting drops or anything near my eyes. I was terrified of having the pressure taken in my eyes, but he was completely understanding and very patient with me. Telling me what he was doing and "talking me through it.
Dr. Mac and his team were great throughout my whole LASIK experience.

My LASIK surgery was very quick and easy. My vision is great. Dr. Mac is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything. It has been a very good experience.
Very happy that I found Dr. Mac. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and couldn't be more pleased. Very helpful with information about the surgery, no pressure to choose anything, just an informed decision on my part. I appreciated the opportunity to make an informed decision. I would recommend Dr. Mac and his office in Matthews. He is very personable and caring.
I was very impressed with all aspects of my cataract issue. From the initial visit through the final post surgery follow-up, the Dr. and staff were great. They were patient to answer all questions and provided me with all the information I could want to make the decisions that were right for me. Kudos to Dr. Mac and his staff.

The most important criteria for surgery is OUTCOME. Prior to surgery I had cataracts in both eyes making work and driving difficult. Prior to cataracts my eyes were at 20/400. After laser cataract surgery and monofocal lens implants both eyes are at 20/20. Dr Mac addressed my concerns for minimal time from work and lifting restrictions. His office staff in Stallings and surgical support staff at Union West Surgery Center are professional and courteous. Actual surgery time for each eye was about 15 minutes.
