I share this to hopefully educate a young lady to not discount why any customer enters the store. Last Sunday I had a date with my 5 year old granddaughter for lunch and a visit to Mac. She had just had her bangs cut because she absolutely loves Taylor Swift. She asked me if we could go to Mac and try on red lipstick. Such a poor customer service. had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at this store. I returned a powder I had purchased and about two hours later I went back because I realized I actually wanted the original one again. The staff member told me the product was “not available,” even though it had just been returned. The way she handled the situation made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable — it felt like she wasn’t listening to me or was pretending not to understand. From the moment I stepped foot in the store, everyone was so pleasant. I was greeted warmly by every staff member I encountered, and I didn't at all feel pressured or rushed in any way--as is sometimes the case in other cosmetics stores. I have to give a special thank you to Liz for everything she did to help me select my perfect shade. She took her time in trying out different products, and really listened to my concerns. Thanks to her patience and sound advice, I was able to find the absolute perfect foundation for me!
