Imagine coming from vacation on a Sat and a/c doesn't work in Sept!. Called around a few companies and all wanted a lot of $$ for a service call. Called Mag 5 and explained what I though problem was. My electrical panel was mis firing and that my a/c was not working. Electrician, Mario, came out and check panel. It was burned in some areas. We had their electrician put in an electrical outlet and he drilled a hole through our shower tile. To make matters worse. they refuse to repair the damage. Avoid this company.
One star feels too generous to give, not even a singular star for such absurd experience I had. I picked this company based on the reviews, and i think most of the people who wrote the reviews are elderly. Chuck, the technician, came to my house and looked at the water heater, went back to his van for about 20 minutes, then comes back empty handed. I worked with 3 different Mac-5 technicians over several days at a rental property. Each technician seemed to be fine and very capable. My dissatisfaction is with solely with the company and the terrible systems they have in place. When a tech is onsite they can call out, but if you miss the call, you are unable to call them back. The only option if to call back in to the dispatcher, and have them contact the tech. It is so frustrating and inefficient to deal with! VERY OVER PRICED! not to mention work preformed leaked a week later. Already reached out to company with concerns and never heard back...may want to mention to your techs when you have a trainee with you treat them with respect they are learning don't let your frustration be known loudly in someone's house very unprofessional. I agree with other reviews that how many elderly people are you ripping off ..wish I did more research first ...Beware !
