My apartment was beautiful after I insist on all new appliances being all the appliances was not in working condition. My blinds were dirty and those had to be replaced also. The staff is great, but watch out for Cynthia. She's nice nasty!! The tenants are hood rats. The gate was constantly breaking so anyone can get through. Apply at your own risk.
I live at one of their properties, Lincoln on the Green. While they take care of the property outside expect for the potholes. The timeliness of taking care of maintence request is horrible. The total lack of concern for the residents who pay rent to live in decent housing is a slap in the face, not far from becoming slum lords. Think I will seek legal help to get things done.😡😞😢
I'll start with saving when we first visited the park it was great and the lady who got us our apt was awesome. We never saw her again and The staff changed at least 3 times while living Their. After we signed our lease we had problem after problem. Our apt flooded 2 months after we moved in and they tried to blame us for it saying we clogged the toilet when we had never even used our quest bedroom. My daughter and her roommate lived here from Dec '15 to Feb '17. Staff comes off as very friendly at first until you sign the dotted line. Spiders, bugs, fireplace that leaks every time it rains, AC quit working several times during the summer, balcony had to be blocked off because of rotten wood, management didn't care about loss of use or any issues. I would give this piece of crap 0 stars if I could. I cant say enough about how CRAP this place is. Seriously, go live in a cardboard box, it would be nicer and leak just as much when it rains. Our apartment got to where there was mold and mildew from when it rained, because the windows leaked ALL THE TIME and they never fixed it, despite multiple maintenance requests. Way over priced for the quality, the staff has not been bad however, the apartments are less than what I expected. The sink came with rust, the cabinets are very worn, the landscaping is a joke and annual carpet cleaning is a bigger joke ( has to be done with water and NO soap) The back bathroom has no ventilation which causes the tile to fall and lord only knows how many times they have come beating on the door saying we are dripping water down stairs and have yet to do much to fix it. I am a resident at Howell Commons...well, Let me rephrase that, I have a unit at Howell Commons, but I don't actually live at Howell Commons. I moved in April 16th. The very first time I opened my apartment the smell of cigarette smoke smacked me in the face. Had I not had movers behind me I wouldn't have moved in. After the movers left I cried for about 30 min straight because I knew I had made a huge mistake. I left and didn't return for about 3 days. Luxury is a little far fetch. Everything looks nice on the surface but these apartments were built poorly. The walls are extremely thin, there is only one trash compactor for the entire community so if you live on that end be prepared to stare at mounds of trash on the weekend. They except pets but be prepared to pay for it when your lease is up. On another note: workout room is great and it is in a great location.
I am not a tenant at this property. I am an applicant who was approved, but HAVE NOT signed a lease. This complex is managed by MAA. PROBLEM: I paid $200 less than 48 hours ago to 'hold' an apartment. I found another apartment owned by the same management company as the apartment on 'hold'. I called to cancel the first apartment so that I could lease at the second complex. They will not refund any of the money or transfer it to the new application.
