I forgot to mention I took the battery up to auto zone in clawson on Tues the 4th of November had it charged,took it back to my vehicle and it started right up went back to auto zone and had the alternator checked which came out good,the fuel pump was only 3 years old,the battery I replaced for a new one was a 5 year battery that was probably still good would have done fine with a new ignition switch, it was original on a vehicle with 280 miles that I started thousands of times,maybe I should be a mchanic,I paid brake 1 1200... read more

I'm retired with a lot of free time,this is my third review because m1 stole a lot of money from me just guessing and throwing parts on my vehicle when what it needed was an ignition switch, they put two different starters because the first one got me down the road and then wouldn't restart,they tried to sell me a battery but mine was warranty from auto zone so I got a free replacement then they supposedly got another starter but the starter was never going to work if a failing ignition switch kept draining the battery,the s... read more

I didn't want to write one review let alone two until I took my vehicle into another shop to see what max might have done,Ron and max thought I needed a starter so they installed one,Ron called and told me it was finished when I went there to pick it up there was a wrench in the engine bay and the wheel well molding was not attached,it was low half of quart of oil,max brought some out and I had to remind him of the molding not being attached in the wheel well.eventually I left went to fabricate laundry mat park went in for 5... read more

I retired after 47 years and had time to look for a mchanic,I went to M1 brakes in royal oak mi and talked to a gentleman named Ron who told me he owned the business and does good work,I had my vehicle towed to royal oak to M1 and was told it was the starter,I was called and told it was done,I went to pick it up and it wouldn't start when I got there,first when I opened the hood there was a wrench inside the engine bay,max came out with a charger and charged the battery and it started,I left and went to fabric care down the ... read more

This place is a scam I don't know how they got a five star rating when the messed up my car from beginning to the end 1st of all they charged me high price foe simply thing like a oil change and transmission oil change ,engine tune up some wheel bearing a axel etc gear shifter etc brakes that where don't improperly I got pic to prove it but I paid anyway then they where done I brought a friend up there to look at there work it was not good I pointed out all the things need to be done the said ok but that's not it I ask them... read more
