I have given this salon multiple chances. Not only was everything rushed, they don’t take no for an answer and keep pressuring you to get a higher price service when the quality of service doesn’t get better. Today, I had regular nail polish on my toes and she swiped it once with a cotton ball and told me it was gel and then charged me. I’ve been to this nail salon multiple times, and every previous experience with Aloha has been wonderful. Unfortunately, Aloha wasn’t available this time, so I was scheduled with Ruby, and the experience was disappointing enough that it has made me reconsider coming back. My best friend and I came in for my birthday nails. I asked for a simple French tip with a design, but after spending an hour and a half on just the French tips, Ruby still couldn’t complete the design. Absolutely unacceptable. I took my 7-year-old daughter to M. Vince for a pedicure, and afterward she developed a painful toe and toenail infection that required medical treatment and a round of antibiotics. What is even more disturbing is how the salon handled the situation. I called to report what happened and expected someone to have the decency to return my call. No one ever did. A bit pricey, but I do like that they have a full service mani and pedi that my mother in law loves to do with me.
