Usually I've been pretty happy with this place, but today I arrived for my appointment on time and was left in the room for over an hour without being seen. So when I called the receptionist to make sure my insurance will not be billed for this visit, she couldn't care less and told me it was written in my chart "Left without being seen at 9:30". Which is a bold faced LIE. I was sitting in that room past 10am.
Doctor Hope WoodRoffe, was soft spoken kind she an her nurse listen to my concerns I really felt heard this time. I asked early on I would like the female MAs to take blood pressure. One of the male MAs is too rough talking blood pressure...it cause anxiety for me I'm a sexual assault victim so I get triggered It took way to long for someone to ask me to flag my account as female only providers. I thought I requested that. I asked doctor peace to but maybe she forgot but my issues were addressed I'm very appreciative of that
I’ve gone to the Center for mammograms a number of years. I was just there recently and was very happy to find that the Senior Mammography Technician, Maryann Cotroneo, was/is still there. This woman likes people, she likes her job and this shows in her engagement with her patients, while we do have some laughs she’s purely a professional. I just wanted to offer a little praise where it is due. Please appreciate her, I do.
The Rn and doctors are kind however, they haven't truly listened to my complaints about one of their male MAs. Who I don't appreciate taking my blood pressure he's too rough an I'm expecting. I complain twice and still he's attempted to take my blood pressure and the staff clearly ignored my request to not have him take my pressure or come near me. Worst healthcare service I’ve ever received. The nurse at the urgent care did a more thorough pelvic examination on me than Dr. Mary Peace. Dr. Peace downplayed my medical history and reasons for the appointment. Dr. Peace did not talk me through any of the examination procedure & did it very rushed. Dr. Peace was painful with the examination with no regard for my comfortability. The only compassionate staff were the people work in the lobby & the student doctor.
