I live in South village mobile home park Topeka ks and this management company corporation whatever you want to call it sucks. Every year raise the lot rent $75 most greedy people I know. They should be turned in!
My gas bill was $300.00 this past month, and $275.00 the prior one. I didn't use my heat during that time. We had a few cold mornings, but nothing sustained. I was told they calculate gas usage by the unit instead of using individual meters. I'm a retired senior on disability and on a fixed income. This latest bill pushed my rent to $2,600 with utilities included. This is unacceptable. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT RENT FROM A PROPERTY FROM UNDER THIS MANAGEMENT. THEY OWN QUALITY HOMES ONLINE AND MANAGE COMMERCE MEADOWS MOBILE HOME PARK WHERE THE MANAGER HARASSES PEOPLE AND HAS SEVERAL CITY CODE AND STATE VIOLATIONS. WHERE PEOPLES HOMES ARE BEING DESTROYED BY FLOODING ON THE GROUND RESIDENCE ARE BEING HARASSED AND EVICTED FOR RIDICULOUS REASONS. They are very unprofessional and "sketchy". My child (in their 40s) lives in one of the communities. I'm glad that there are some of their properties with good ratings. However, the one management needs a good "rebuild" from the look of things!
Edit: They took us to court. We won! We walked without having to pay any back rent. We paid first and last and that's it! That's how bad they don't want to fix anything and we were here almost all year! To anyone reading this, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING!
