Yesterday I visited Dr. Dunbar. For almost two years, I did not have the opportunity to see an audiologist who works with cochlear implants. Usually, the procedure resembles a “lie detector”. I was ready to kill forty minutes thinking about what I was hearing. There is little joy in this. But Dr. Dunbar turned my pessimism into a pleasant journey through hearing problems. In addition to being on top of technology in her field, she possesses exceptional concern for her clients. Her listening skills are superb.
