Performed bilateral endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery on me. Was constantly having symptoms of nerve pain and numbness after surgery but kept telling me to use my hands more. Suggested a repeat EMG which didn't show anything. Asked for an MRI and he didn't recommend it. During follow up visits, the doctor barely comes into the room and only sends his resident doctor. Dr. Tavana and his staff were cheerful and upbeat - and patient while my ring needed to be removed. In fact it took longer to cut my wedding band than the procedure took. Everyone was kind, respectful and friendly. I was very pleased with my entire experience.
Dr Tavana is the most caring and compassionate person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and as a doctor. He is very understanding and helpful cares and listens to his patients.
