Had a PVC line break from meter box to house on a Saturday. Plumber responded in about an hour and did a good job fixing the problem. The entire job took about two hours and I thought the job would cost around $200.00. The plumber charged $370. I believe that to be excessive. Talking with other plumbers, they said they would not charge that much.
