I had stopped seeing Dr. Penrod years ago. His bedside manner is terrible. We also have a Down syndrome, disabled nephew of whom we are his guardians. He had an appointment with Dr. Penrod for a medical issue and needed treatment. Dr. Penrod looked at him and said “I guess this means that I have to treat him”. . We have never been back to see him again. We are now being treated by a much better physician that not only listens, but has compassion and competence.

I am very satisfied to have Dr Penrod as my primary care physician. I have complicated medical conditions which require that I see several specialists. Not only did Dr Penrod refer me to appropriate specialists, but he is an excellent "quarterback" in that he communicates with my medical team and helps me integrate everyone's opinion into a solid, comprehensive treatment plan.
