RecommendedNJ Nicholls Landscaping did an impeccable job lining my driveway with cobblestones. They are professional perfectionists. Couldn’t be more pleased with how my project turned out.
$4500 for sod replacement and 6 bushes planted. 4 of 6 bushes died within 6 months. Sod lasted 2-3 years. This after watering faithfully. 30 plus year independent fertilizer guy I hired after initial sod replacement told me the issue is the low grade soil used by MJ Nicholls. Owner Matt not responsive. Buyer beware.
I recommend them 100%. They recently completed several large projects including a new stone patio, new front walk and porch, fence, and beautifully designed backyard. We worked with Bruno who designed and oversaw the project from start to finish. He was very responsive and always kept us informed. All the crews were so talented and hard working. Everything they did exceeded all expectations!
This review is overdue but they did a great job last fall with a beautiful new bluestone front walkway and granite steps at both of our front entrances.
MJ Nicholls just finished our walkway and a stone wall out in front of our house and we could not be any happier with the work they have done. Very professional, hard working, clean, and get the job done right from the beginning. The workers came everyday on time and worked hard the whole day. They also cleaned up each and everyday and made our yard look amazing! I couldn’t say enough good things about this company and the workers they have working for them, Thanks again we love the work you did!

I recently had MJ Nicholls level my backyard and put up a retaining wall, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for work. Their cost and timeline were much better than the other companies we looked at, and Matt was very responsive from the beginning which many landscapers were not. His team got my work done in a week and were out there 12 hours a day for 6 days-they were Amazing workers and did such a great job with our wall.
