My first thought was MI Homes are good builders. I was visiting this community last week and just going across the houses to see community I have noticed water leak infront of quite a few homes. Initial thought was probably one or two homes having a leak, but noticeably quite a few homes having this, Makes me think some draining issue in this community. So kinda mixed feeling now about MI. So any new potential buyers I would recommend checking out the community before buying.
Poor Drainage, Zero Accountability, and No Communication — AVOID THIS COMMUNITY If I could give zero stars, I would. It’s been over five months since we raised a serious concern about improper drainage around our newly constructed home. Water constantly seeps out from the lawn and driveway area, flowing onto the sidewalk and street. This has resulted in persistent waterlogging, moss growth on public walkways, and a mosquito breeding ground. Low quality craftsmanship ship for what you are paying. Negligent workers, Lots of sloppy work, wont cover their own mistakes, already having problems and its barely 1 year old house. Find a better builder, MI homes is not it.
Top tier service! I’m not a M/I customer but maybe one day I will be now! I caught these guys on their lunch break when my car keys blew off the top of my car (I forgot them up there lol) onto the highway and they jumped into action to help me get them. If even a fraction of their kindness, consideration, and helpfulness shows in their work day, I would support and recommend this company for sure! Thanks guys.
