Find a better neurosurgeon. All he cares about is slicing you open and that’s it. Zero post-op care. He sent me to a different location to have a pump put back on, only for them to tell me they don’t deal with those. In the two days I waited for “care,” my condition worsened to the point where I need yet another surgery. He will talk to you for a total of maybe 15 seconds if he’s not operating. Find a higher level of care, and a more thorough neurosurgeon.

Dr. Rifai is an outstanding Neurosurgeon. He did an operation on my dad (aneurysm) and went very well thank you. He is kind and knowledgable. He explained everything to us before and again after surgery. His staff and nurses are great thank you very much. I recomend dr. Rifai to anyone who needs him.

I have had a morphine pump for well over 15 yrs. Every 7 yrs. it has to be replaced. All of these I've had a 40ml. I also have had issues with anesthesia in the past, as I've gotten older, that is, anyway this last time he decided to put in a 20ml. Now mind u I've also just been given a PTM, which is 2 phones & of needed u can give yourself 4 extra shots, or bolos'as their called. So this means I have to go & get my pump refilled ev. 3-4 wks. instead of ev. 6 wks. like before when I had the bigger pump. So now @ 75 yrs. old ... read more

I have the "honor" to pay almost $200 for a misdiagnosis. I had some blurry vision while having the flu. Since I have a benign brain tumor, I went to the ER to make sure everything was fine. First off, I didn't even know I was going to be speaking to the neurosurgeon until 10 minutes before he came in. When he did come in, he was quick and cold. He told me basically everything I already knew about my tumor. Only after a CAT scan, he declared the path that was created in 2017 was closing and I needed a shunt as soon as possib... read more
