Took my elderly dad to the ER because he had worsening covid symptoms and it wasnt getting better after over a week. Elderly and covid is more obviously more dangerous. We saw Dr Jake tarnowski. Worst Dr i have ever met. He acted like we were ridiculous for coming in!!!!! He talked down to us and was so arrogant! Horrible bedside manner. Zero empathy or concern. Low level & Inadequate patient care. Pain management for a deep tissue chest injury was severely lacking. Communication was terrible. I felt they only wanted me out of there when I had a potentially very serious injury. Although I saw many empty rooms. They filled out discharge papers while I was in dire pain & very lightheaded with low electrolytes. My hand was seriously swollen & black and blue but no X-ray. I was only in the ER for 8 hours, yet I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. I don’t remember the doctor’s name but he was excellent. The staff was excellent. And the short visit led directly to a major reduction in my spine pain while I was there, and within days following my visit. Thank you guys for a job well done! Jim Rivas
