Dr Jacob F Lentz in the Emergency room was very rude to me.he asked me why I came here. I said because M Health Fairview, is my 1st choice. I should have known to go back to Mercy where I had my surgery. He kept asking what my symptoms were, and he said they told you that was what your symptoms were going to be. The Nurse said that was rude. Then he wrote in my discharge paper I don't know why she came here. All the staff was super nice and empathetic. I had half my face go numb/gone and thought I was having a stroke. They were all amazing!
It is Impossible to reach anyone at the clinics when you call or need help. Unbelievably rude staff who transfer you away without giving you the opportunity to speak or ask for the correct number to call. Separate from this, a nurse who assisted me before the doctor who was assisting that day from another clinic kept talking about how bad things are getting with insurance and care, and with the clinic in general. The emergency room here is terrible. The first person I met was the heavy set blonde nurse manager who was a terrible woman. I guess you can't expect much when leadership sucks at a hospital, and that's what we got. Every nurse was rude and condescending, and no one wanted to do their job. Wich is to help people. We arrived at 930 am and didnt leave until 430. They did a ct scan, and an x-ray in the room before 11. We waited over 4 hours for the dr to read scans. I live in Champlin and at age 77 had to get up at 5am to bring my daughter for out patient surgery. Her doctors and nurses were supportive and informative. When they took my daughter I went to the Cafe for badly needed coffee. I saw I was too early for breakfast, and was looking at the menu. A worker came and offered to prepare an order for me.
