This guy is a crook. Glad other people chimed in. He did "work" on my car once and lied to me about the problem NOT being the starter. Sure enough when I go pick the car up it was running so I didn't think to test it. Of course when I get home and try it the car won't start well. He didn't do anything except steal $600 dollars from me. I took it to another shop and sure enough it needed a starter. A new mechanic would know this let alone someone who's been around so long. My wife's car died near M&G auto in Alhambra and was towed there by AAA. I asked Greg of M&G what was wrong and he said he would run a diagnostic test on the alternator. I went to recover the car and was charged $50 for alternator diagnosis. He had no paperwork to show any kind of test results or if he even opened the hood for that matter. He told me the alternator was no good and demanded his $50 before releasing the car to my tow truck driver.
