Mrs. Bennett, the company owner, presents herself as more than she is. After months of trying to complete a project with this company, the end result was a lot of frustration, fraud, and lies. She stole the architectural plans that we paid for, she incorrectly dug a foundation without a permit, causing thousands of dollars in property damage, she lied in mediation, she lied through the Better Business Bureau's complaint resolution process, she does not understand her own contracts, and she steals from her customers. ****FRAUD ALERT**** My wife and I went under contract with Lavonne several months ago to build an accessory structure in our yard, and that was the worst decidion i've ever made. We fired her because she dug an incorrect foundation without a permit and not only is she not returning our deposit, she is requesting we pay her $50,000 for some reason. She is completely incompetent and a blatant liar. We are taking her to court. Do not do business with this person.
I recently visited my buddy's house, and I'm angry after seeing the state of his property. He hired this company to do some work, and they completely destroyed his yard and stole a large sum of money. Based on everything I've heard, the female who owns the company appears to be a scammer. I believe my friend is taking them to court, but I think it's important for me to warn others. Stay far away from ME Property Maintenance & Construction.
