I’m an experienced driver from out of state. I applied for MDPS as a bus driver and after going through the process of getting finger printed ( which you have to pay out of pocket, no reimbursement) I was told they do not accommodate bus drivers who have children as you drive for them. This morning I was making a left hand turn on 183rd Street from 42nd avenue. I was the third car behind and going northbound. There was a school bus number 37483 at the light and pulled out right in front of the first car when we had yellow green light. The first two cars had to slam on their brakes. I was far enough back. I just seen it all this driver. If he would have had kids on there could have had a major accident. This was about 8:20 this morning

My son has been at the bus stop for 2 consecutive days the bus does not show up this is very unprofessional and causes me to have to leave work to pick up my child because of the school bus system lack of organization. But if you dare pass a buss while it’s stoping there goes a $225 ticket from the school bus. I should be able to fine them for not doing their jobs .

Can you please Make sure the school bus drivers do not put their red lights on until they come to a full stop. There is no violation if the school bus is still moving when the red lights are on. Cost me $225 when the driver was still moving. It is not that difficult
