Other Dr refused to perform knee replacement due to my weight. My primary Dr then referred me to Dr Mitchell McDowell saw no problem. I had suffered bone on bone for 6 years. I had a motorcycle accident 18 years prior and had hardware on my left knee. Dr McDowell had a lot of work to perform the knee replacement. I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Mitchell McDowell for the removal of my left Total Knee Replacement, that was done on 04/29/2021. On 12/23/2024 Dr. McDowell removed the original Total knee Replacement , and Dr McDowell Performed the Knee Revision surgery on 05/06/2025. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. McDowell and his staff! He’s an excellent orthopedic doctor who truly takes the time to listen and explain everything in a way that makes sense.
