After being Max’s customer since 2004 I’m pretty disappointed. We went to his new location in Pacific Palisades to take care of our 2018 taxes and it turned out that my wife was missing one of her W2’s. We agreed that she will email it directly to Max within as soon as she gets it but in the meantime he gave us the refund amount and had us sign the paperwork for electronic filing. Incompetent staff and very slow service. You can take an appointment a week ahead of time and still wait an hour once you get there. I filed my taxes 2 months ago with them and I just received a mail from the IRS saying that it's missing documents, no way of getting hold of the accountant on mail/phone because they're always "busy". Avoid at all costs!
Max has been doing my taxes for years. He does an excellent job choosing right deductions from myriad of IRS rules and exceptions, so I don't have to. He made it a really friction-less process to file tax returns.
