I would suggest going to a different Endodontist. I went to see Dr. Lyons for an evaluation and he did not want to do a root canal. Instead he recommended extracting my tooth due to resorption and get an implant!!!! I did find a Endodontist and had a root canal done using gentle wave procedure and special microscope. I would go to someone else . They don’t have the high tech dental equipment, very outdated office. also, they don’t allow anyone in the office waiting room except for the patient which is very odd to me!! Signs ... read more

I have all my root canal done by Dr Lyons for over 20 years. He is very compassionate and his work is excellent

I've seen Dr Lyons since he first opened practice in Pensacola at least over 15 years ago; he had a staff of two back then - right out of school. Back then, he was great. Great service, great staff. He then entered into practice with Dr Rosenthal. From that point on, the service went downhill. Recently had a root canal retreatment in April. Probably shouldn’t have wasted my time stressing about the root canal, because Dr. Lyons does a great job and there was no more discomfort than in getting a filling, or probably even a cleaning.
