I rarely write reviews as my loan is in process for a 50k pool loan but the lack of communication with this group and their partner Lightstream Financial is appalling. I was looking to borrow 50k for a pool and i have an 803 credit score, 400k in cash and more than ample income. Last month i was approved for 675k mtg on a 1.2 mill house and now I am DENIED FOR A 50k loan at LYONS/LIGHTSTREAM? If i can't qualify who can? Be careful of a bait-and-switch. Very poor communication, lack of transparency in the application process and I spoke with a different sales person every time I called (which was probably 10+ times). They sent a bunch of emails saying that I was approved, but when I called them, they say I’m not actually approved for the amount I requested, but instead I can get a much smaller amount with a MUCH HIGHER interest rate (so that the monthly payments are nearly identical, even though the principal amount is almost half the size).... read more
