I asked in writing whether services would be covered by insurance and was reassured back in written form, only to later find out the clinic was out-of-network. No one took responsibility, which caused financial stress and disrupted my child’s therapy. I have nothing against the clinic, except how the person that I spoke with dealt with my son. I spoke to them about suspecting my son to have apraxia, but I told them that I had Molina as insurance. Everything was fine until I told them that he already has speech somewhere else too and this would be in addition to treat his apraxia if he was diagnosed. We have been working with Alice Stroutsos at Lynnwood Speech and Associates for 1.5 years now and I can’t say enough good things. My daughter was diagnosed with Apraxia and began working with Alice being able to say one word, “Dadda”.
