Louisville's own Lynn Winter opened her little slice of paradise more than a decade ago and has since become a national attraction and local treasure. As unique and quirky as Lynn herself, Lynn's Paradise Cafe offers the tastiest "down home" cooking, the wackiest decor, and genuine southern hospitality. Our fun and family friendly atmosphere, the World of Swirl gift shop, and our central "Louisville - Highlands" location has made Lynn's Paradise Cafe a popular destination for anyone. Thanks for visiting us in cyberspace, but... read more

I so liked this restaurant. I used to come here with friends on New Year's Day to get a hangover breakfast. It was great to patronize a place established by and run by an artist. Too bad when your staff demanded better pay you closed down. Fucking asshole.
I loved this place & miss taking my granddaughter there for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. We always enjoyed the food & the fabulous atmosphere. I don't know what happened & it's none of my business but I wish everyone the best. The nasty comments made after the closing serve no purpose but to make the person making them appear to be an asshole. If you had a bad experience in the past with the restaurant or the owner....get over it & move on!
Im so sad this place is closed! It was a truly unique & one of a kind place! I hope some how some day they will be able to re open.
Racist scum of thd earth in the kitchen. Made me quit.
New Years didn't seem the same without the pajama party that Lynn's threw. I really enjoyed spending New Years with the Lynn's family and friends. Twelve 12yrs with the family and friends that meant so much to me and my family. Also that helped me grow as a person and helped me towards the future to look back and say I love the people I worked with. I want to give a very very special thanks to Lynn Winter for being a great mentor. Also I wonderful person for bringing out the person in me that I didn't see. What I can carry f... read more
fun place, diffrent, good food – My rating is for the same reasons as joe 6 pack. Gas is the only reason I don't go more often, I'm from Indianapolis In. I took some friends there after it aired on Flay show ,loved it, food good we waited but it was good, were going back, hope its still good. I read some reviews that its went down hill, hope it hasent. And yes it was pricey. But i'm going again. I well rate it again when we get back. What I don't understand is there are reviews from the 90' or about the 90's and the home pag... read more
Still Delicious and Different – I love Lynn's Paradise Cafe and I would give them a 5 star rating if I were rich or if gas prices were lower, but I have to calculate the price in too. I evaluate a restaurant on service, ambience, price, taste, quality, cleanliness and originality. 5 stars on everything but price, but when you're ballin' on a budget; price weighs in heavily.
a victim of fame? – Gone waaaayyy downhill. Food is bad, service is bad. Overrated and overpriced. Have a bloody mary and leave to get good food and service elswhere
How long till the name fails – So so sad to see a Louisville establishment and practical landmark fall so quickly after its 15 minutes of fame. The waits are long, but getting shorter, which is a good indication that your business is heading in a direction other than up. The served food is really bland, greasy and underseasoned - but the dishes sound so much better on the menu, the classic diner with a twist feel, has lost its "feel" to just outright grubby, the plates and silverware look old and the glasses are so etched th... read more
