My friend and I go there a lot I love the age crab soup, so delicious!
Breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay, top notch service and a huge variety of seafood. Lots of local fresh fish. Friendly service - Mary was so sweet!
!st class restaurant. Lynnhaven fish house will not disappoint you if you want good seafood. The restaurant itself is upscale. Crowed. Overpriced. But it is a wonderful place to take that special someone and treat them to a dinner they won't soon forget.
Exceptional quality, freshness and taste at a fair price! Chis and his chef have run one of the finest local seafood restaurants for many years and it shows. I love to invite out of town guest to come here and dine. Always 6-8 or more choices of fresh fish, both local and regional. Great shellfish and sumptuous salads. I recommend the "Mediterranean" salad for lunch or dinner and the Christo sauce with broiled fish. Lump crab meat is available in many forms and always the best available.
Definitely overrated. I have been to this restaurant about 15 times in the past 20 years and it remains the same. Great she-crab soup and then it goes down after that. There are so many other great seafood places in Va Beach ...granted without the view, that cost half the price and deliver more seafood and seafood that is tastier than Lynnhaven Fish House...and, oh, the parking is not that great (don't drive your expensive car there you can barely fit it into a space there and the spaces are all slanted down a hill...meaning... read more
It isn't any better. Great food, great view and hushpuppies to die for.
This was our third trip to the fish house, The food was incredible, But we were amazed by the Bartender, who was generally rude to people, If this is how the owners monitor there staff then we will not be back, I have to say the food was great but we could not get over the bartender.
