The first couple years I spent w/ Lynn Motley, she acted like she cared and was there for you. After a while I understood that she was just doing this to keep you coming back and it did. When the topics got tough, she could not handle it. She would get mad and say words to hurt my feelings. She didn't even care. When she was in the wrong, she never apologized. not sure about the other glowing reviews here because my experience was awful! long wait for her next available appointment and then she cancelled it the day before and I had to wait another 2 weeks! office staff was hard to work with and they got my insurance paperwork all messed up, had to fill out forms twice. was in the waiting area FINALLY waiting for my first appointment and overheard another therapist in the office having a really nasty conversation on the phone with someone. not the sort of person I'd want as a thera... read more

awful therapist, extremely difficult to schedule appointments with her even in crisis situations, doesn't listen well and seems to be set on working her own agenda and ideas, made no progress with her over several months and switched to another therapist in a different agency that's been much better! Go somewhere else!

Lynn is the right therapist for me. She is an amazing and sensitive listener, and an active problem solver as well. She has helped me navigate the darkest part of my life and I feel the sun has come out again.
