Dr. Volas-Redd has been treating me for a rare type of brain cancer for the past one year or more. Not sure why we were recommended to Dr. Volas-Redd or how she is an expert in brain tumors. First visit did not go well. She seemed very rushed, busy and not interested in my mom's Dx. My mom had concerns and questions surrounding the treatments. She brought this up to the nurse since Dr. Volas-Redd rushed out of the room. She's an outstanding doctor whom I've seen for over 10 years.
She cares about her patients and takes a personal interest in their health. She takes the time to ask questions and assess your answers before recommending a treatment plan. She is one of my two favorite doctors ever. I trust her with my life every time I visit for an appt.
Very disappointed in her communication skills. Never new where we stood with the progress of the disease. I would not recommend her.
Listens well. Treatment my metastatic melonama with immunotherapy. I’m am cancer free. I would recommend Dr Alizadeh to anyone. The wait times were sometimes long but I realized that everybody in there has cancer. He always took the time to answer my questions. His staff Jodean and Keisha are great.
Dr. Volas-Redd has treated me twice in 8 years for lung cancer and I am now in remission in October 2024. She is a warm and kind person who will sit down with you to discuss your status quo and give you your options. She and her team have been wonderful to work with and I will miss them when my monthly immuno therapy treatments are over. She is on the forefront of up and coming procedures for cancer and is pro active in the application of new treatments.
Does not listen and judges your prior care. I was explaining something to her and she cut me off with “I’ve been a hemotologist for over 30 years”. So what. This is my first time meeting you. I will not be back. My mothers health is more important than her ego!
