It's been a few months since I stopped going here. My experience with Dr. Cao was never the most positive experience. I always left feeling like a terrible mother. There were at least three instances where she either belittled me, made me feel like I was a terrible mom, or I should just know everything as a first time mom. She does not give grace to new moms. I wish I could put no stars... I would never recommend this pediatrician or her office. The staff is consistently unprofessional—rude, condescending, and dismissive toward parents. They talk down to you instead of offering real solutions or support. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, and Dr. Cao told me verbatim: “Your child will not be successful in life unless you medicate her.” At the time, my daughter was only six years old, and I expressed that I was against medication because she was too young to fully understand or ... read more
I have 7 children and loads of experience with Pediatricians. Dr. Cao is excellent, as is her nurse. My boys look forward to going to the office and are always treated with warmth and clinical skill. Dr. Cao specializes is ADHD treatment, and has done a great job with medical management of asthma.
I just can't understand how a rude person as the front desk attendant is still at this job. She has very little patience with parents of their patients, lacks social and communication skills. I've had several run ins with her because she was very uncooperative dealing with a referral for my child. Even our insurance provider tried and had the same experience with her. Dr. Cao has been our pediatrician for 17 yrs. She has helped us navigate acute issues, as well as, more complicated health issues. She is honest, forthright, and compassionate. She will tell you hard facts. She will also be ready and willing to make specialist referrals. I am grateful for her observant and blunt care. She will tell you truth.
