Dr Sasmit Roy is my husband's nephrologist. Dr Roy is an excellent physician, we find him totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, and truly concerned with the well-being of his patients. We travel 2 hours to see him and would gladly travel five times the distance to see him. My husband would be on dialysis now without Dr Roy's professional medical care. Dr. Roy and his nursing staff are amazing.! A family member experienced a life threatening condition and spent 4.5 days in ICU. The Doctor referred us to Dr. Roy at Lynchburg Nephrology Physicians and Dr Roy knew what was going on immediately and agreed to see us right away. Dr. Roy referred my family member for surgery to an endocrinologist specialist at UVA and while we were waiting for surgery he kept a very close focus and attention to my family members serious conditions. Dr. Roy is amazing, a family member experienced a life threatening condition and spent 4 days in ICU.
