Dr was nice but their staff could be better. Spent half the day calling insurance, drs office and place to get ct scan. They say insurance denies, insurance says they never got the referral. Spent our time calling these places to get this taken care of and the nurse left early. All she was supposed to when she came in was send the the pre authorization with urgent and called the office where the cat scan was taking place to say they had to put in the claim but the insurance said they needed the claim from his doctor. My doctor Dr.kwabena is a nice guy and I stayed with him for 4 years because I believe in him but he doesn't listen to you at all he puts what ever he wants to on the notes and say you took something that was prescribed to you that cause the problem but I told him I didn't take it and he says yes you did ,ok he was with me when I was taken my meds ,and he puts a lot of stuff on the notes wrong, the kidney stones cause my kidney function not blood pressure my blood pressure never been that bad ,that's just terrible.
So far I am not impressed , they are very slow to respond to calls. I have waited days for lab results I ended calling and still waited two days. Now same thing. Had a scan of my kidney the results were sent on Friday. I called Monday was told the nurse would call back it’s Tuesday afternoon still waiting. I was told by the person who did the scan on Friday. Dr Sasmit Roy is my husband's nephrologist. Dr Roy is an excellent physician, we find him totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, and truly concerned with the well-being of his patients. We travel 2 hours to see him and would gladly travel five times the distance to see him. My husband would be on dialysis now without Dr Roy's professional medical care. Dr.Lynn is awesome. Really listens. Very genuine person. :) I also like the patient portal for random questions when I don't want to call.
