I'm glad I finally got to visit with Dr. Iker. It was a long way to travel to get there, but worth it. Dr. Iker knew right away I had Lipedema and although I suspected I did I had no idea how to get an official dx. since there are no doctors in my state who work with this. I wish I could have spent more time and asked her more questions. I'm sure I will be going back to see her again, but may have to fly next time.

It took me half a dozen doctors and specialists and almost a year and a half before I was lucky enough to walk into Dr. Iker's office. She (and her wonderful staff) truly care about each and every patient and helped me develop a plan for a more thorough diagnosis and long term management of my lymphedema.
