I truly never leave 1-star reviews, but Lykens took over my office lease from a private landlord and it's been so horrendous I'm considering leaving a building and location I love. There has been a flickering light fixture in our hallway, creating a strobe effect, for almost a year (first reported October 2025) and multiple maintenance requests have been ignored. I've rented with Lykens for 3 years and haven't had issues, but these past few months since moving into a new unit with Lykens, it's been a mess. When dropping off my keys after move out, I handed the keys to someone that worked there, who was standing outside of the building. Now, Lykens is trying to charge me $150 for a key remake fee. When I dropped the keys off, I told them the master key was in the mailbox, and that the key I was handing them was a remake. The person said this was fine. Accepted my application, with application fee, and then never heard a word from them afterwards. Tried emailing, calling, texting, for weeks and heard no response. Literally just stole my money
