Great location, only 10 mins from the CBD with public transport options near by and parking available at the hotel (book first). Lyf has gone for a unique industrial pop interior design with open common spaces in the lobby, a closed off kitchen space with use of a fridge, coffee/tea makibg facilities and a range of utensils available for shared use and a smaller yet similar set up on the 2nd floor. First time in Melbourne and as a solo female travel I’m always alittle nervous visiting a new place/new hotel and wow! I arrived late and the 2 ladies at the front desk were so friendly, lovely and welcoming and put me as ease straight away, even recommended me some matcha spots! The bedroom (one of a kind plus) was the perfect size for one and even for 2 people it would be great.
