Beds are super uncomfortable to get in and out of. Tiiiny bathroom. Small rooms - roughly all the same size. No fridge in the rooms - only a shared fridge on each level. Staff are friendly. A really uncomfortable stay. Never again.

Beds are comfortable and the rooms quite large. Nice spot to sit at a table for two. However there is no fridge in the room. Each floor has a “shared kitchen” which means a mini bar fridge for approx 20 rooms. I found the fridge completely full of other people’s stuff on arrival. It’s more of a fancy hostel with your own room than it is a hotel. Bathroom is tiny and almost see through so you can have the joy of watching each other through the glass. So incredibly disappointed with my stay at LYF Collingwood. This is honestly a glorified hostel, not a hotel. The room was tiny and had virtually no facilities. The blinds don’t even cover the windows, so outside light floods into the room all night. Add to that the bright AC light that illuminates the entire room, and getting a decent night’s sleep becomes almost impossible. The lack of privacy and soundproofing was honestly shocking. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is awesome within walking distance of the vibing Smith St filled with bars, restaurants, cafes, vintage stores. The King room was clean and modern but didn't enjoy the frosted glass bathroom (not great for toilet privacy) and one side of the bed is pushed up against the window.
