Back in the early 90s I had a terrible accident at work. The company I worked for already trying to weasel out of their responsibility were late getting me to the hospital. Any other doctor would have opted to amputate as the damage to my left hand was extensive. Dr. Lyday took his x-rays and got me in the OR in minutes.
