I have the MetLife Legal Plan through my employer with 100% coverage for contested family law issues. I found Lyda through the list of attorneys under "contested" family law. I called their office to get a consultation, mentioning that it was through MetLife and was immediately asked if it would be contested or uncontested before being asked for any specifics and as soon as I said contested, they told me they couldn't take me on. Slow to respond, hard to work with, ineffective, and dragging their feet on refunding my retainer.
Terrible experience working with this firm. Trying to set up some simple estate planning was like pulling teeth. I had to constantly email in for any response and finally they completely ghosted me after months of trying to finish a will with no response. Have to start over and go to a new law firm. Would not recommend using them.
