I contacted this company to service a propane heater. The service person took the part that needed to be replaced and ordered a new part. Returned to complete the job but it turned out that is was the wrong part. He left and was never heard from again. The company receptionist said the owner is sick and the company is closed. Bottom line: the heater remains broken with a missing part. The service person didn't even have the right tools and we had to provide and he took one of our wrenches with him. If I could rate 0, I would. From the beginning of the interactions with this company, it was a mess. I scheduled a consult for new HVAC install for a Friday at 3:30pm. I got a message before noon stating we missed the appt. They had come over 3 hours early and said we didn’t show up. The dispatcher then said the service person should be showing up around 3… at 5pm they finally showed up. About a week after that, I had not heard anything back about the quote, so I called them. ***BEWARE*** This is not the old reliable Lycoming Heating. They have new ownership and are very very bad. Installed a “new” heating system for my elderly mother and it did not work. She spent 14k and it broke down within a month. Nice people ( young workers) tried to fix it but after 3 visits could not. The manager ghosted us and the receptionist got rude! We called another heating company and they fixed it within the hour! We will use them in the future and we will never use Lycoming again after using them for 30 some year... read more
