I could use a local derma doc in central SD, but Dr. Scott-Thornburg is worth the 3 hour drive. She didn't just treat my symptoms, she figured out the CAUSE and now I am cured.
Dr. Thornburg is the BEST! Not only is she patient and kind, she treats each person as if they were the most important person she will see today. Dr. Thornburg takes the time to educate and gives great recommendations!
Dr. Thornburg was caring, thorough and wicked smart. She demonstrated a global, wholistic approach and had my symptoms improving and resolved in short order with no return.She also treated my daughter with a post-op rash with the same outcome. Rapid City is fortunate to have her practicing in the area.
She wouldn't listen and was extremely rude. I almost got up and walked out. I won't be back.
She’s very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me and very thorough in the full body exam. Found suspicious spots I wasn’t aware of. Definitely recommend
If you are okay with getting unnecessary spots removed while being told they are cancerous, and end up with ugly scars and a huge bill then go see Dr Scott-Thornburg. Don’t be fooled by her charm, it’s fake. She’s money driven rather than driven by giving good, honest patient care. Her care definitely isn’t worth the long wait.
I’ve been going to Dr Thornburg for years. She’s extremely knowledgeable and so is the staff. I’m grateful that there are incredible people like Dr Thornburg wanting to spend her youth hidden away studying for decades to become a specialist in the field of dermatology. I have total confidence in her medical diagnosis, management, and care. I’m always treated so nice even when I’ve been miserable.
She talks a good game but ultimately dropped the ball and bailed.
I would highly recommend Dr. Scott-Thornburg to family and friends. She is very personable, listens, and always takes the time to explain things. Outstanding!
