I'm so happy I'm able to remember her name. All I remembered was Dr. Luz. Storytime!!! I was admitted to the Emory Hillandale hospital in May 2023 after having a bowel bleed, I was given a colonoscopy and told to wait for the GI Surgeon to come to my room because I would need surgery to remove a mass found during the procedure. Dr Angel’s office is horrible at following up post surgery. You cannot reach anyone at her office in the event of an issue. If you express an issue or problem they are slow to respond or don’t take complaints seriously. My husband sent many messages to the office to express increasing pain, fever, and fatigue. This lack of response has led to my husband needing an emergency surgery due to complications not addressed promptly. I do not recommend this surgeon after this experience.

Dr Angel is a very good surgeon. She is#1 and it's I have another surgery she is the one I choose. Dr Angel saved me from having to have a colostomy and I had 2 other surgeons opinions and she fixed my rectal prolapse without a permanent colostomy.
