Beware if shopping alone, as a woman. I worked with William Ashby, who insisted on referring to me as “sweetie” & kept taking about Victoria’s Secret, obviously referring to their lingerie. For some strange reason he also brought up the slave trade in Belize, which was bizarre & seemed racially motivated. Additionally, he wanted me to know his wife is of Spanish descent, I’m guessing as to give him a pass to be bigoted to others. STAY AWAY and do not even consider buying a vehicle from this lot. I recently purchased a car from them that unknown to me required MAJOR work totaling over $6K. Oil leaks, power steering pump, brakes, etc... All should have been identified and repaired prior to selling the car to me ESPECIALLY since when I asked, they told me the car had been gone over thoroughly and has no issues, no leaks, brakes are good, etc... Just purchased a 2001 MB SLK 320. Jimmy Gray the manager was covering for sales and was proficient and professional. There policy is to wait for the customer to approach, not to intimidate! It was a real pleasure! The car and there eye for detail sold the vehicle. Jimmy and there business approach sold the dealership. Highly recommended!
The most unprofessional and disappointing car buying experience I ever had. I called and made an appointment to see a car I was intrested in and drove SEVEN hours round trip just to see it and hopefully make a deal. Got there and the car was sitting stuck in the showroom! They had plenty of heads up that I was driving HOURS to see it and didn't even bother to take it out so I could test drive it. I was completely floored. Terrible experience. I drove seven hours round trip from Pennsylvania to see a car only to discover it was in the showroom! They knew well in advance that I was coming and never bothered to take it out of the showroom so that I could test drive it. I was floored. Very unprofessional. The owner, John also has no people skills....he was very rude and unprofessional. The experience was so bad that I wouldn’t go there even if they were giving the cars away for free.
