Hello! I am reading the recent reviews and I wanted to point out that I had the same concerns before buying one of these LED mirrors. The unit I received from this store includes Intertek ETL (cETLus) certification, which is recognized in Canada as meeting electrical safety standards. I also had my electrician (30+ years of experience) review it during installation, and he had no issues with the wiring or compliance. Based on that, I’m comfortable using it.
BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased two mirrors with built-in LED lights and both are not CSA Approved. The instruction & manual have no sticker and are not CSA compliant. Despite telling this to the owner of this store, they are not willing to take the return. I have contacted the manufacture which has stated that the model of light we were sold are not CSA approved and there is an updated version of light that is. My version LMF200 is not CSA compliant but has been updated to the LMF200B which is. I have also has ESA inspector insp... read more
