PSA update. I still do not have use of my car. I brought my car to 2 different shops and both confirmed the transmission was bad. The one that ended up doing the repairs said from the damage the transmission had been bad for some time. I am still paying for the transmission repair. Once it is paid off, then I will need to get new tires because I was told by 3 shops they were too dangerous to drive on. I was told they were so bad they were surprised I didn’t have a blowout. I recently purchased a BMW from this dealership. After purchasing it, I brought it to a mechanic and discovered the back brakes were at 0% (illegal) and the back tires were raw. 2 months later the transmission light came on. I contacted the dealer to tell them about all the issues with the car and ask for assistance. I was told they would not help me at all. I am a bit shocked at their attitude. After a good experience buying a car on a Saturday, the battery died the same night and could not be re-charged. We needed the car on Monday and no one at the car lot could help. We were forced to have the battery and alternator tested and then buy a new battery on Sunday. After several calls to the lot we were refused compensation for the battery a week later. For a $14,000 purchase, the lot saved $115 by not doing the right thing.
