If you want to feel like an absolute princess, go to Luxe! They were so so so so amazing. They knew how to make sure I felt BEAUTIFUL and comfortable. Unlike other stores that shoved me into dresses, every dress fit and made me feel beautiful! Thank you Luxe! I can't WAIT to get my dress!!!!
I absolutely would encourage anyone who is a curvy girl to visit this shop! I was really nervous to try on dresses, but Suzanne was amazing and I loved most of the dresses she brought me! It was really hard to choose as she did such a great job, but I did end up purchasing THE dress on my first visit! I should mention I will be 50 when I get married but I felt so confidant when I left...age is just a number! Wear what you love! And Luxe will most likely have it!

Where do I start?!? I was SO nervous being undressed in front of someone I didn't know, didn't think I would find "the" dress and that was all proven wrong to me! Regina was absolutely AMAZING! I felt like I knew her! My dress is strapless (which I didn't think I'd want) and I am in love with it!! I give Luxe Bridal a 10+!!!! Thank you for making this experience so much more than I could had ever imagined �
Luxe bridal was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. They were amazing to help find the dress that I was looking for. I put on many dresses and they didn't mind. When I found the dress the tears came and I knew. Thanks a million Luxe for the help.

Suzanne was absolutely amazing! This was my first experience of trying wedding dresses on and I couldn't be more thankful for her! She made me feel super comfortable as I was really nervous and I found my dress! They have so many options for us curvy ladies and they make you feel so beautiful.

While I can't speak to what your seamstress is saying, we must follow our designers size chart recommendation and use your measurements as a reference at the time of ordering your gown.
