The techs are very nice socially, but are very careless when it comes to the actual service. Due to the high traffic of the salon, the techs rush the service to get people in and out as quickly as possible. I went today to have gel extensions removed, nothing else, and left so upset and in pain. The tech chose to file down the extensions fully rather than doing a soak off, and in the process filed down the skin on my finger so badly that it blistered up and is still sore to the touch hours later. The techs rush too much and can be careless causing injuries. Rough filing and overall uncomfortable and poor service.
This place is good, the ladies are very nice and they do a really good job. However, is VERY expensive. I went for a pedicure, and on top of the pedicure price they charged me $20 for gel. I’ve gone to countless places and they always charge me $5-$10 for adding gel, I was floored to see it was $20. Also, this was not disclosed at the beginning of the service, if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have gotten gel and just regular polish. I ended up paying around $80 for a basic pedicure with gel. Very bummed about that.
I walked into Lux Spa & Nails absolutely desperate for help fixing my nails after a bad experience at another salon, and they did not disappoint! I had a very important event the next day, and Lily came to the rescue. She completely transformed my nails and made them look absolutely beautiful! I’m so grateful for her amazing work and attention to detail. I would definitely come back to Lux and I would definitely work with Lily again. Thank you!
I went in for a full set, I saw a set on their Instagram page that made me want to go give them a try I normally go somewhere else but the set i saw posted on their Instagram page was really nice and I wanted to get it, when I get there I showed the Instagram post to the receptionist who was super friendly and I asked if the girl that did those nails was there she said yes she went back to talk to one of the girls and came back said wait 15 min so I did.
